In trying to understand my motor's cooling system circulation, I dropped the foot and clamped on a garden hose to the water tube feeding the heads. I disconnected the heads outlet hoses to the thermostats so water would freely exit the heads and I could witness the waterflow out (with engine not running). When I turned the water on, water also came out a small hole under the block adjacent to where the tube connects. Is this the block drain hole where water is designed to come out when the engine is turned off?
